Parking
The Marriott Hotel and Conference center has limited paid parking available in their garage. The hotel now charges for all parking whether you have a room at the hotel or are a member of LTUE. As a courtesy to LTUE attendees staying at the hotel (those who purchase their rooms through the LTUE Room Reservation link) the Marriott offers a reduced parking rate of $5 per day instead of their regular $15 per day rate.
Important: Be sure to check all signs and restrictions in any parking area before leaving your car. Some parking areas are free, some areas have hybrid parking (part of the lot or tower is free but other parts require a fee). Do not park in any Reserved or Assigned stalls because many of the lots have an aggressive towing policy.
Parking Garage East of the Marriott Hotel
The parking garage just east of the Marriott hotel parking garage has limited free parking on the top level. Assigned parking is reported to end at 6 pm and after that it is reported to be free. Again, you should verify the times and fees before leaving your car.
Surface Lots
The surface lot just south of the Smith’s grocery store parking lot charges $4.00 per hour.
The parking garage on 2nd west is reported to charge $2.00 per hour or $12.00 per day.
There is a bigger lot east of City Hall which fills up during the day, but is open after 6 pm.
Do NOT park in the parking lot on the southwest corner of 1st south and 2nd west. It is private property and they aggressively enforce it.
Zion’s Bank Parking
If you don’t mind walking a couple of blocks there is also some free parking in the Zion’s parking tower just east of University Avenue. Not all spaces are free so pay close attention to the signs.
Note: Zion’s Bank garage does NOT have an elevator.
This map shows some of the parking spots in downtown Provo. It is not comprehensive and prices may have changed since this page was published.
